The NFL season is almost underway. Tonight marks the first preseason game and a month later the regular season will commence. Let’s look at three of the biggest questions surrounding this upcoming season.

Alvin Kamara’s Suspension

The NFL announced that the New Orleans Saints star running back will be suspended for his incident in Las Vegas but hasn’t said for how many games it will be. The Saints are one of the favorites in the NFC South but will need Kamara to make a run in the playoffs. The team signed Jamaal Williams and drafted Kendre Miller to help in his absence. It’s likely he gets at least four games but possibly more.

Will these rookie QBs start?

Bryce Young looks to already to be the starter in Carolina but the second pick CJ Stroud and the fourth pick Anthony Richardson may not start right away, or at all this season. Houston still has Davis Mills who has been their starter for the past two years and has showed some promise. He could continue to start if he is playing well and the team is winning. The same goes for veteran Gardner Minshew in Indy.

How will two veteran receivers make an impact?

The New Orleans Saints could have one of the best wide receiver groups in the NFL if Michael Thomas returns to 90% of what he was a few years ago. In Tennessee, the Titans could have gotten a huge boost towards making the playoffs with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins if he can stay healthy and still be the same player he has been the past handful of years.
