Following the cancelation of topmost league competitions in Europe due to the Coronavirus outbreak, a lot of uncertainty has emerged over the summer transfer window. The transfer window usually opens up in the month of June, is always highly anticipated by football clubs and their fans. Football clubs all over the world are always eagerly waiting for the transfer window to open so they can boost their ranks in preparation for the next campaign. However, several clubs had already had negotiations with notable players and their respective clubs on possible club switch when the summer transfer window opens. Here are five big-name signings who are set for a club switch after all the concerned parties settled on an agreement:
Hakim Ziyech, Ajax to Chelsea. The 26year-old Moroccan international agreed on moving to Chelsea from Ajax when the Transfer window opens. He is perhaps the most significant signing acquired before the windows open. Hakim has been a revelation for Eredivisie side Ajax registering double figures for assists in the last six league season. He is extremely confident in the final third and thus makes a good signing for Chelsea Fc.
Pedrinho, Corinthians to Benfica. As per statistics collected in the Brazilian top flight last season, only a single player aged 21 and below had a higher rating than Pedrinho. The 21-year-old plays as a winger and he is a real goal creator from wide areas.
Anthony, Sao Paulo to Ajax. Ajax has made a lot of money in recent years on their prized assets while replacing them with cheaper options. This tactic has been fruitful and impressive and hopes are there that the success story shall repeat itself when Anthony arrives from Sao Paulo. He plays as a winger and he has been superbly tricky( completing 2.6 dribbles per 90 minutes).
Trincao, Braga to Barcelona. The 21-year-old Portugues international has been playing in a forward central role, where he has impressed. Many have not seen him in his blistering best having played 1,064 minutes this season for Braga.
Alexander Nubel, Schalke to Bayern Munich. Alex Nubel has followed in the footsteps of Germany’s goalkeeper Manuel Neuer by making a move from Schalke to Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
