The Los Angeles Rams won their first Super Bowl with this roster which is one of the most talented teams ever assembled in the history of the NFL. This team won the game due to their two elite wide receivers and quarterback play as well as their stifling defense.
Winning the first Super Bowl for a team is a huge hurdle to overcome, now they should be able to keep this team in tact for the most part and keep their key pieces for next year. The best wide receiver in the NFL, Cooper Kupp, is just 28, OBJ is 29, Robert Woods 29, and quarterback Matt Stafford is 34. This offense still has another good two to three seasons with that offensive core.
On the defense, they are a bit older, but they probably have at least two more years together. Aaron Donald has considered retirement, which would be a huge blow for this team, although he is only 30 years old. Von Miller is 32 and could consider retirement as well and Jalen Ramsey is just 27. Those three are all crucial for the next couple of seasons of Super Bowl runs.
A big part of winning games in the NFL is having a balanced attack. The only thing that wasn’t consistent this year was the running game for the Rams. Cam Akers has talent but the offensive line will need to improve as well going forward.
This team has the talent to win two or three more with this core group of players. The only things that can hold them back is their tough division, the NFC West, keeping them out of the playoffs or the lack in running game hurting them down the road.
