Zach Wilson New York Jets
Yet again Aaron Rodgers did not play in the Jets’ second preseason game but Zach Wilson did and looked good. Wilson threw 20 passes and completed 14 of them for 123 yards and a touchdown. He also got sacked just once and looked much more comfortable out there on the field than he has in the first two seasons of his career.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson Cleveland Browns
The Browns will likely keep three quarterbacks and it looks like DTR is a lock to be that third quarterback after two great performances so far in the preseason. This past game DTR completed nine of 10 passes for 102 yards and looked very comfortable running the offense. He is an ideal backup behind Deshaun Watson and Joshua Dobbs as they have a similar play style.
Tank Dell Houston Texans
Someone needed to emerge as a threat in the passing game for the Houston Texans and Tank Dell did that in the first preseason game. He has the ability to take any short pass and turn it into a big gain. Dell also stretched the field and made an acrobatic catch for a touchdown. Right now he could be the second option in Houston.
