Biggest Surprise Teams in the NFL So Far

Giants at Redskins 12/09/18

New York Giants 4-1

The Giants had suffered so many injuries in the past few years. It really gave their young quarterback Daniel Jones no chance to make this team a legit playoff contender. This year it looks like they could do just that. They just beat the Green Bay Packers in week five but they also two wins against pretty bad teams in the Panthers and Bears. Another big win for them was over the Titans who are currently 4-1 with their only loss coming against these Giants. Saquon Barkley looks really good and Jones has been serviceable as a starter. We will see how they do from here on out as they will get a huge test against the Ravens in week six.

Philadelphia Eagles 5-0

Another NFC East team is the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL. This team has a standout defense and a great rushing attack that starts with their quarterback Jalen Hurts. Miles Sanders has also been good for this team on the ground and AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith have been a great duo through the air. This team somewhat came out of nowhere to be the best team in the league right now record-wise. Currently they look like one of the top-three favorites to win the NFC.
