Biggest Winners of the NFL Draft So Far -- from Washington Football Team at Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona, September 20, 2020

The NFL Draft has just began but we already have some clear winners here after the first round. Let’s look at some teams who did very well to kick things off.

Arizona Cardinals

Arizona needed a weapon on offense and they got it in Marvin Harrison Jr. out of Ohio State. He was clearly the top wide receiver in many people’s eyes in this draft and getting Kyler Murray the best wide receiver he has had since DeAndre Hopkins will be huge for him. The Cardinals weren’t done either as they had pick 27 and used that to get a pass rusher with massive upside. They addressed two positions of need with high upside players already.

Minnesota Vikings

There was talk that the Vikings would have to move up to pick five or six to get JJ McCarthy but they didn’t fall for any team’s bluff and waited to get him at pick ten after moving up just one spot in the first round. They then also got Dallas Turner with pick 17 who some people had as the best pass rusher in this draft.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs did it again. They used the trade with Buffalo to get to pick 28 to select Xavier Worthy who ran the fastest 40 time in NFL-combine history. Some people think he has Tyreek Hill potential. This could prove to be a great move.
