Bronny James Joins Dad on Lakers

The most-hyped pick in the NBA Draft’s second round was selected this past draft. Bronny James, the son of Lebron James, was picked by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 55th pick. This will likely be the first time in NBA History that a father and son will play on an NBA court together.

Bronny James was wildly seen as a player that would go undrafted. It undoubtedly helped that his dad is one of the best NBA players of all time and still is one of the top players in the league and a free agent at the same time. The Lakers likely had no other choice but to take Bronny to appease Lebron so he would resign in free agency.

In college Bronny James averaged just five points and shot terrible percentages. His game seems far away as an NBA player. Bronny is athletic and a solid defender but undersized and has little offensive game to work with.

Look for Bronny James to play in the NBA Summer League and also get in a handful of games with the Lakers this season while playing most of his time in the G League. It will be one of the top NBA stories all year long.
