The first round of the NBA Playoffs is coming to a close and we have a handful of teams that look like they are the early favorites to make it to the NBA Finals.
Boston Celtics
The Celtics have looked really good as they have made fairly easy work of the Hawks so far. It was probably one of the easiest opponents on paper though so anything could still happen to this team in the next rounds.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks appear to be the other favorite team to come out of the East even after falling down 1-2 to the Heat. Look for them to bounce back in this series and get on track again to compete next round on their way to the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston.
Phoenix Suns
After a rough start to the playoffs the Suns have been looking really good. The Clippers don’t give them much of a fight anymore without Paul George and now Kawhi Leonard though. With so much talent the Suns are still one of the favorites in the West.
Denver Nuggets
An overtime win in game 4 extended the first round series for the Nuggets against the Wolves but most people expect them to make easy work of them in the next game and move on to be the favorites in the next series as well.
