Heading into the playoffs is when you want your team to be healthy. That is not the case for some of these top NBA playoff teams at the moment. A lot of these teams need to get healthy to have a run at the championship this year.
Brooklyn Nets
The first player missing from the lineup is Ben Simmons due to injury. He hasn’t played since he was acquired at the trade deadline from Philadelphia. Many people think he won’t play at all this year due to a back injury. Then you have Kyrie Irving, who is healthy but can only play in road games which won’t work come playoff time. Not to mention they lost Joe Harris for the rest of the season as well.
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls went from first place to fifth place in the matter of a month and a half. That is largely due to the absence of Lonzo Ball. In their last 11 games they have won just three games. Ball was supposed to be out 6-8 weeks and it has not been seven. He apparently is no where close to playing and could be out the rest of the year if the Bulls lose in the first round.
Los Angeles Clippers
For the entire year the Clippers have been without Kawhi Leonard, and they have been without Paul George for most of it as well. They acquired Normal Powell at the trade deadline, but he got injured as well. The Clippers are still hanging on to a playoff spot, and if they get back two or all of these injured players, they could make some noise in the West.
