All four of the Divisional Playoff games were some of the most entertaining games of the entire NFL season. The best game was saved for last on the weekend when the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in overtime on Sunday night.
Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes looked like the two best quarterbacks in the NFL in this game. There were multiple times when each team thought they had they game won, but their opponent kept coming back.
The first time the Chiefs thought they had the game won was when they had the Bills facing a 4th and 13 with 27 yards to the end zone. The Bills were down five at the time and needed a touchdown. Josh Allen converted and threw a strike that went for even more than a first down as Gabriel Davis converted his third touchdown of the game.
Mahomes had too much time though and came back to score in under 50 seconds as Tyreek Hill broke out for a 64-yard touchdown on their fifth play of the drive.
With 1:02 remaining on the clock, the Bills had another impressive drive that ended in another Davis touchdown for his fourth of the night. This left the Chiefs with just 13 seconds left, and the Bills thought they had won.
This, again, was too much time for Mahomes as he only needed two passes with two timeouts to get the Chiefs a 49-yard field goal that was easily made to tie the game to force overtime.
The Chiefs got the ball first and easily marched downfield to score a touchdown to win the game. Which ever team was getting the ball in overtime was likely to score the way both of these teams were playing.
The Chiefs won the game 42-36 to go to the Conference Championship game against the Cincinnati Bengals next week.
