The New York Knicks pulled off one of the biggest trades of the NBA season so far acquiring OG Anunoby from the Toronto Raptors. However, they may not be done making moves. Let’s look at three more trades they could make.
The Chicago Bulls big man has been outplayed by his backup Andre Drummond since leaving the lineup due to an injury. Right now Nikola Vucevic’s value may be at the lowest of his entire career. The Knicks could offer a deal that keeps their core in tact: picks plus Isaiah Hartenstein, Precious Achiuwa, and Malachi Flynn.
It’s rumored that Markkanen is available and he is arguably the top player open for a trade right now. Utah would want a ton of picks plus some salary dumps and buyout candidates like Evan Fournier plus all their young talent that is remaining.
Donovan Mitchell has been tied to the New York Knicks for years now and he made it clear in the past that he would like to play there. The Knicks haven’t had a big star in over a decade and Mitchell could fit that mold. A star player is likely what this team would need to truly compete in the Eastern Conference.
