Kyler Murray will be on Thin Ice -- from Washington Football Team at Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona, September 20, 2020

The return of Kyler Murray to the Arizona Cardinals is anticipated this week. The Cardinals will take on the Atlanta Falcons in this game and Murray is expected to play in his first NFL game since December 12th when he tore his ACL.

Murray had been talked about as an NFL MVP in just his second year but has fallen far from that. He has had issues with the team and coaches and hasn’t played extremely well, at least last season. This year could be his last in Arizona and he will have to prove he can still be a quality starting quarterback in the league. Otherwise, the Cardinals likely will have a top pick in a quarterback-heavy draft.

When healthy and playing at his best, Murray is one of the most-dynamic players in the league. He has the ability to make plays with his legs to set up a pass or a scramble. Look for him to be possibly a little rusty and less mobile than usual but we should see some flashes of the old Murray in this game.

The Falcons have an underrated defense and if Murray carries the Cardinals to just their second win of the season, he could be glorified in Arizona again very soon.
