There have been so many trades this NFL offseason. We break down the top 5 impact trades for this season.
5. Tyreek Hill MIA
Hill is absolutely a game changer for any team. He only comes in at five on this list due to how much he will actually effect winning for this Dolphins team. He can take any pass for a touchdown, but with Tua as his QB, his effectiveness may be different than it was with Mahomes. The Dolphins will need to go through Buffalo and New England this year to make the playoffs still.
4. Deshaun Watson CLE
Watson would be No. 2 on this list except for he is expected to miss eight or 10 games this year. His impact may not be seen that much as the Browns may struggle to get in the playoffs with Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh in this division and with only having Watson for half the year.
3. Matt Ryan IND
This was an underrated trade that got Ryan to Indianapolis. At times last year the Colts looked like a top 10 team. They lost their final two games that caused them to miss the playoffs after losing to Las Vegas and Jacksonville though. With Ryan, they should be improved to a playoff team that has a chance to have a Super Bowl run.
2. Davante Adams LV
The impact of this trade for this upcoming season was bolstered by Kansas City trading Tyreek Hill. It gives the Raiders a better chance to win this division and a better chance at a Super Bowl. They made the playoffs last year without one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, so it will be interesting to see what they do this year.
1. Russell Wilson DEN
This makes the Denver Broncos instant Super Bowl contenders. They have a great defense, good wide receivers and running backs, and now have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. This move probably moved their Vegas win total from 7.5 to 10.5 by having Wilson rather than Lock going into the season.
