Multiple teams were upset after being heavy favorites in the NFL week 9. It was one of the craziest weeks of the season so far. Le’s look at some of those teams and how they lost in games where they were expected to win.
The Bills lost to the Jets 17-20
Buffalo could not find a groove on offense all day. Josh Allen had two early rushing touchdowns but also threw two interceptions. They had a ton of chances to score the ball or get something going offensively but just were not able to. New York played great defensively and made timely plays on offense to pull off this AFC East upset.
The Raiders lost to the Jaguars 20-27
Jacksonville picked up their third win of the season against a Las Vegas team that made the playoffs just last year and were expected to be even better this year. Now the Raiders are last in the AFC West following this loss. Las Vegas was given ample opportunities to comeback in this one but just couldn’t execute on offense in a bad loss.
The Packers lost to the Lions 9-15
The Packers look lost out there on offense. After getting the running game going the week before, they couldn’t do anything on the ground in this one. Green Bay is significantly banged up at wide receiver which was not a good group to begin with. Their offense is really bad.
