The NBA Playoffs is down to just four teams the Lakers, Nuggets, Celtics, and Heat. Let’s preview these semi final series and make some predictions!
Los Angeles Lakers at Denver Nuggets
The Lakers had many haters and many believers heading into the play-in games. It turned out that the believers were right. The Lakers came all the way from the play in to make it to the conference finals in the West. Now they have to face the No. 1 seed Nuggets.
Teams have not been able to be super competitive against the Nuggets. Denver has arguably the best player in the NBA in Nikola Jokic and a great surrounding cast. Prediction: Nuggets in 6
Miami Heat at Boston Celtics
The Celtics were able to narrowly get past the 76ers in round two to get here. They were on the ropes in game six down big but fought back to win and then finish it off in game seven. Miami has clawed their way here from the play-in games. Both of these teams play tough defense but the advantage on offense is with Boston.
Jimmy Butler will need to continue to rally his team and we did see Bam Adebayo play better in round two. Those two will be crucial to making this a series. However, Boston may prove to be too much. Prediction: Celtics in 6
