NBA Draft Trades Impact

Multiple trades have occured around the NBA Draft. Let’s look at the impact on these teams involved in the trades that have happened so far.

Mikal Bridges to the Knicks

This was a massive trade. Bridges is a borderline All Star player and will likely be the 2nd or 3rd option on the Knicks who are one of the favorites to win the Eastern Conference next year. For Brooklyn, they unloaded their top player to acquire a ton of picks in a move to rebuild.

Deni Avdija to the Blazers

Quietly Avdija had a really strong end to last season. He showed his playmaking and shot making ability. Now Portland has some nice young talent that hopefully will turn into some All Stars and winning in the next few years. Washington may finally be fully unloading players in a rebuild.

Rob Dillingham drafted and traded

The Minnesota Timberwolves don’t have much room at all to add free agents. They used a ton of draft capital to get to Rob Dillingham. They see him as an elite scoring point guard who could replace Mike Conley as soon as this year in the starting lineup.
