NBA Playoff Race is Heating Up

With the new play-in games in the NBA more teams now than ever have something to play for. With two weeks left in the regular season there are a ton of teams who are looking to lock in so they can shift into their desired play spot.

Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets have come out of nowhere to be a factor in the Western Conference. Behind Jalen Green this team has looked really good. They won 11 games in a row to get up to 11th in the West. Now they are just two games behind the Golden State Warriors for that final spot in the play-in game. The Warriors have picked it up as well winning four games in a row. These teams play each other in just a few games in a huge matchup.

Miami Heat

Right now it looks like the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers will be battling it out for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference. That guarantees a playoff series. Last year Miami came out of the play in to make it all the way to the NBA Finals. They’ve won two in a row but also Philadelphia is creeping up behind them and could get Joel Embiid back very soon.

Phoenix Suns

Teams five through eight in the West are all separated by just two games. The Mavericks and Pelicans have a two game lead over the Kings and the Suns. Anything can happen down the stretch as these four teams battle it out to try to get the fifth or sixth seed.
