The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching. So far we have seen some big moves as Pascal Siakam was traded along with another Toronto Raptor in a separate deal, OG Anunoby. The Knicks were involved in these trades getting Anunoby and they moved young players Immanuel Quickly as well as RJ Barrett to the Raptors. What could some of the next moves be?
Bruce Brown will be traded
The Toronto Raptors acquired Bruce Brown in the Pascal Siakam trade from the Indiana Pacers but it has always been said they have no intention of keeping him. Brown can help a team win now but also has a massive expiring deal. It’s rumored that Toronto wants a young player and first-round pick for him. A likely trade may be back to Denver where he won a championship last year.
The LaVine trade rumors have not gone away since last year. Now, it seems as likely as ever that he is moved. It will be hard to move him though because he makes $40 million per season and still is under contract for a few more years. The Los Angeles Lakers could take him on or the Sacramento Kings.
Martin isn’t a huge name but he was just on the rise last season before he has been stuck on the bench of two contending teams, the Los Angeles Clippers and now the Philadelphia 76ers. He’s a good young piece if the 76ers want to go after Bruce Brown or another player that could help them now. Martin could blossom on another team.
