The NBA offseason usually is one of the most exciting times of the year for fans. Their team has the ability to set themself up for success next year or in the future. Some of these trades would shake up the entire league.
LaMelo Ball for Zach LaVine
The Hornets are getting worse. While Ball is coming into his third year in the league without ever making the playoffs, this team seems like the worst he has been on so far. He could request a trade if they are not competitive this year and flipping him for LaVine could be a good reset. A trade that gets Gordon Hayward’s bad contract off of Charlotte and lets Coby White go from the Bulls could be two players added in this deal. This would also reunite LaMelo with Lonzo, his brother.
Kevin Durant to the Warriors
The Warriors have said to have some interest in bringing back Durant. They would have the best package of players to offer Brooklyn as Brooklyn could get Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, James Wiseman, and Andrew Wiggins in return.
Donovan Mitchell to the Knicks
Mitchell has been rumored to be wanting a trade, but Utah instead traded All Star center Rudy Gobert and their stating power forward Royce O’Neale. This has left Utah with not much to work with around Mitchell. They could be planning a reset of this roster and New York has always been interested in Mitchell. Utah could take on Julius Randle, and get two young players in Cam Reddish and Obi Toppin in a Mitchell deal.
