NFL Draft Could Change the NFC North in a Big Way

The 2024 NFL Draft is coming up in just over two weeks. Right now the NFC North looks like one of the worst divisions in the league. It could all change after the first day of the draft.

The Lions were the only team with a winning record in the division last season. This year that may change and the Lions may not be so dominant. Green Bay looked better at the end of the season but the draft has major implications for both Minnesota and Chicago.

The Chicago Bears have the first overall pick and will almost undoubtedly draft Caleb Williams who people think could be the next Patrick Mahomes. This could instantly change things for the Bears who won just seven games last year. They also traded for one of the top receivers in the league, Keenan Allen.

Minnesota moved on from Kirk Cousins who is now in Atlanta. With hopefully a healthy Justin Jefferson and another promising young wide receiver in Jordan Addison, the Vikings should be better than last season. They especially may be better if they draft a quarterback seventh overall that could change this offense. JJ McCarthy and Drake Maye are possibilities to fall to them

The NFC North could be very different next year and one of the most exciting ones to watch.
