Every year there are breakout stars in the NFL. This season we saw a handful of players break into legit stars. Let’s look at some who made a big impact this year.
Jalen Hurts
The Eagles narrowly made the playoffs last year as Hurts played really well towards the end of the season. This year Hurts took his game to the next level. He was able to lead the Eagles to a one-loss season before he missed week 16 with an injury. He is a legit MVP candidate as the regular season comes to an end.
Trevor Lawrence
It took Trevor Lawrence a while to get into his groove in the NFL. Now it seems that he has broken out towards the end of this season. He is on a mission to get the Jaguars into the playoffs but even if he can’t, next season is lining up to be a big one for him after this late-season break out. He is now 8th in passing touchdowns and 9th in yards.
Jaylen Waddle
After a strong rookie season Jaylen Waddle has broken out into a legit star. Alongside Tyreek Hill in Miami, Waddle has had a massive season of his own so far. He has 1,260 yards and eight touchdowns with two games still remaining on the year. Those numbers are good for 6th and 5th in the league.
