The NFL is back starting with the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday followed by the rest of the league’s teams playing next week. These are the players we are excited to see in preseason:
Derek Carr New Orleans Saints
In his first year on a new team Derek Carr will be playing with the Saints and some new, shiny weapons. We will get to see Carr throw to Michael Thomas, young promising wide receiver Chris Olave, and one of the best running back receivers in Alvin Kamara. It should be extremely fun to see if this team can take a big jump this season.
Odell Beckham Jr. Baltimore Ravens
People may think that Beckham is on his last legs after some injuries and him getting older. Watching Lamar Jackson throw to him could be special though and it could be a resurgence year for Odell. He’s arguably the best wide receiver that Jackson has had in his career and could be extremely fun to see.
Aaron Rodgers New York Jets
In the Hall of Fame Game we should see Rodgers for at least a couple of posessions. This team was missing a quarterback last year but has decent weapons for Rodgers and an elite defense. Anytime a future hall of fame quarterback changes teams for the first time this late in his career it is worth watching.
