KaVontae Turpin Cowboys
One of the best stories in the NFL preseason has been that of Turpin. After his career ended at TCU, he went on to play in the USFL where he won the MVP. If Turpin makes the roster he will be in Dallas as a return man, as he had 98-yard kickoff return touchdown and also an 86-yard punt return touchdown in week 2.
Josh Palmer Chargers
Palmer has been the discussion of a possible breakout wide receiver as the third option for the Chargers. He had a decent rookie season last year with four touchdown catches but showed during week 2 he could be even more productive. He had three catches for 75 yards on four targets with a touchdown in limited action.
Davis Mills Texans
Mills looked really good completing 10-17 passes for a touchdown in week 2. He was primarily throwing to backups as well, but Nico Collins showed he could be potentially the third or even second wide receiver on this team with his performance with four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.
