A running back is actually the favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year in the NFL. Three quarterbacks at the top of the draft should be starters and are the second, third, and fourth favorites.
Bijan Robinson Atlanta Falcons
One of the highest drafted running backs in the past handful of drafts, Bijan Robinson, is the favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He should be given every opportunity to carry the ball and be involved in the offense. A running back may have a hard time winning the award over some of these quarterbacks though, especially if they are even close to as good as advertised.
Bryce Young Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young is expected to start day one. That is a big advantage over both CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson who may not be the starters immediately or at all this season. Young also has a clear path to the playoffs in one of the worst divisions in the NFL.
Anthony Richardson Indy Colts
It seems crazy that Anthony Richardson is more likely to win this award than CJ Stroud. Both are not confirmed to be the starter but maybe Vegas believes that Richardson has a better chance to start. If he does start at least 13 or 14 games and runs wild like some people expect him to, he could get the award.
CJ Stroud Houston Texans
CJ Stroud will have to beat out Davis Mills for the starting job. If he can do that he could be in the running for the award. He also may have the worst weapons to work with but a lot of these wide receivers he has are unknown like John Metchie and Tank Dell who could put Stroud over the top if they are great.
