There are still hope for some of these NFL teams, believe it or not. Let’s look at some who you thought may have little to no chance left but are still clearly in the playoff picture.
You probably thought the Colts were pretty bad this year, right? Well, they are 7-5 now after winning four games in a row. On Sunday they have a favorable matchup against the Bengals without Joe Burrow and they could take first in the division with a win. The AFC South leader Jacksonville is just 8-4.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
At 5-7 the Bucs are just one game away from being the division leader in the NFC South. They played the current division leader Atlanta tomorrow and would take over first with a win. It may have seemed like Tampa Bay was out of the playoff picture but they could still even lose a couple games and make it.
The Vikings are just 6-6 while the division leader in the NFC North is 9-3 in Detroit. However, Minnesota still has to play Detroit twice and the Lions have shown they are beatable as they have won by just five or less points and lost one of their last four games against .500 or below teams. If the Vikings can beat the Lions twice they could win the division.
