The game of the week in the NFL for week 13 was the rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game, the San Francisco 49ers playing the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia. Last year in the playoffs the Eagles were able to dominate the 49ers on both sides of the ball, most likely due to the fact that both of the 49er’s quarterbacks agot injured in the game.
This game was a different story. The Eagles were fairly successful on offense but the 49ers were just able to do anything they wanted on offense themselves. San Francisco has some short drives that went for touchdowns and put up 42 points in this game. Deebo Samuel was the star this week as he had three total touchdowns. He had two long touchdowns as well, one of 46 yards and one of 48 yards.
These are what most people think are the two best teams in the NFC, and possibly league. This could have been a preview of the NFC Championship yet again this year. Also, this game could have had major implications on who gets the first round bye and first seed in the playoffs. This game wasn’t close soon after the second half started.
