The NFL has some superior talent at the wide receiver position now more than ever. Let’s look at the top 10 in the league.
10. Jaylen Waddle
The second best wide receiver on his team has all of the same skills as Tyreek Hill but not the volume. If he was the main target on his team, he may be ranked higher.
9. Amon Ra St-Brown
There isn’t anything that he can’t do at the wide receiver position. He is big, fast, and explosive. His production suffered a bit when it mattered down the stretch for the Lions or he would ranked higher. In his final five games he failed to score or crack 80 yards.
8. Ja’Marr Chase
After a stellar year last season, this past year his numbers suffered a bit. With only 87 catches and 1,046 yards it is hard to put him above these other wide receivers who produced more in 2022.
7. Ceedee Lamb
Lamb was a huge reason why the Cowboys were able to make a run in the playoffs. He has all the talent in the world and is top wide receiver. He was top six in every major wide receiver category.
6. Cooper Kupp
After being the top wide receiver by far in 2021, Kupp fell off due to his injury but he should be able to bounce back in a big way next season. Obviously his stats last year won’t compare to anyone on this list as he played just 9.5 games but he had 5 games with over 100 yards in those games.
5. Stefon Diggs
Diggs was a huge reason why Buffalo was so dominant. He made huge plays for his team all year and has the talent to be one of the best in the league every year.
4. AJ Brown
Brown helped lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl and was a big play machine with 11 touchdowns (second most for wideouts) and 1,496 yards (fourth most in the league).
3. Davante Adams
The most touchdown catches by far came from Adams. He had 14 which was two more than the next most from Travis Kelce. If he didn’t fade out for the majority of the last handful of games of the season he may have been higher.
2. Tyreek Hill
Hill looked unguardable in his first season with a new team. If it wasn’t for another wide receiver putting up ridiculous numbers he would have been No. 1 as his stats were nearly as impressive.
1. Justin Jefferson
One of the best wide receiver seasons ever came from Jefferson as he had 128 catches and 1,809 yards. Both were the most in the league by far which is why he is No. 1.
