The NHL trade deadline is upcoming on March 3rd and a ton of players are projected to be moved.
So far we have already seen some trades go down. Vladimir Tarasenko landed with the New York Rangers, Bo Horvat got traded to the New York Islanders and Ryan O’Reilly is being sent to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Patrick Kane has also been traded from the Chicago Blackhawks. They agreed to send Kane to the New York Rangers for two draft picks going back to Chicago. The Rangers are currently third in the Metropolitan division.
Jakob Chychrun is a young defencemen who could also be on the move. The Arizona Coyotes have been one of the worst teams in the league this year and may be looking to rebuild.
Erik Karlsson is another player to watch out for at the trade deadline. San Jose currently has the least amount of wins in the NHL.
The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Carolina Hurricanes are two teams to watch out for as buyers at the deadline. Two teams that may be sellers that we haven’t covered could be the Nashville Predators and Philadelphia Flyers.
Sam Reinhart and Tyler Toffoli are two other players to watch out for as we get closer to the trade deadline.
