Ranking the Least Talented NFL Teams

Following the beginning months of free agency and the NFL Draft, let’s rank the three least-talented teams in the NFL.

3. Carolina Panthers

Last year this team had even less talent with a rookie QB and not much around him. This offseason though they added some nice pieces like Diontae Johnson and Jadeveon Clowney. They may have the worst starting running back in Chuba Hubbard and a quarterback who threw 11 touchdowns in 16 games.

2. New England Patriots

The skill position players continue to be one of the worst overall units in the league for the Patriots. Their top wide receiver is likely Kendrick Bourne this year again. Last year he got injured and rookie Demario Douglas was their leading receiver with 561 yards. Rhamondre Stevenson is an average to below average starting running back and Austin Hooper is a below average starting tight end. Tie that together with unknown rookie Drake Maye as their QB.

1. Denver Broncos

It’s hard to beat the two teams above them as far as least talented but Denver has one of the worst running back and tight end rooms plus maybe the worst wide receiver room besides New England. Also, their starting quarterback for week one is either Zach Wilson, Jarrett Stidham, or No. 12 pick Bo Nix. You could arguably swap any other NFL roster’s RBs, WRs, TEs, or QBs and improve the talent on this team.
