The Super Bowl will always have some heavy preseason favorites, but there is always the chance that a team in the NFL that is not a top-5 favorite can make the Super Bowl. Here are some of those who could be a surprise Super Bowl winner.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers currently have the seventh-best-betting odds to win the Super Bowl. Depending on what site you are looking at they could be anywhere from fifth to eighth, though. The 49ers made it to the NFC Conference Finals and barely lost to the eventual Super-Bowl-champion Rams. If the 49ers have a big upgrade in Trey Lance over Jimmy G, this team could be a steal at these odds. They essentially will have the same team but could have a big potential upgrade at the most important position, quarterback.

Indianapolis Colts

Currently, the Colts have just the 13th best odds, depending on what site you are on, to win the Super Bowl. The Colts were one of the best teams in the league last year, but missed the playoffs after losing their final two games. The Titans are really the only other competition to win the AFC South and the Colts should have a great chance at making the playoffs. Matt Ryan was a hugely underrated signing and could take this team to the next level of Super Bowl contender.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders made the playoffs last year and added arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL to their roster in Davante Adams. They are in the toughest division in football where every team expects to be Super Bowl contenders. The odds are just so good for the Raiders. They have the 18th best odds to win the Super Bowl right now.
