Spurs Complete Comeback Win Over Suns

On Halloween night the young San Antonio Spurs completed an impressive comeback to beat the Phoenix Suns to get their second win of the season.

The Spurs found themselves down by 20 points in this game but battled back in the end. Down five points with just a minute remaining in the game, Victor Wembanyama scored four-straight points including a put back slam with 6.8 seconds left in the contest. The Suns inbounded the ball to Kevin Durant and he was swarmed in the corner. Keldon Johnson ripped the ball out of his hands and scored a layup to go up by one point with 1.2 seconds left.

The Spurs completed this crazy comeback behind the rookie Wembanyama. He has looked really good and it seems we haven’t seen him fully click yet like he was in the preseason. While the Spurs don’t expect to be competitors in the West, it seems that this team has a lot of fight in them and could scrap their way to the play-in games.

This was one of the best finishes to an NBA game so far this year and it was on TNT for the guys to react to after the game. The Suns did play without Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in this one.
