The Pittsburgh Steelers won in their final home game of the season as they defeated the Cleveland Browns 26-14. This victory was mandatory for the Steelers to keep their dreams of the NFL playoffs alive. In what could be Ben Roethlisberger’s last season and home game it was a heartwarming victory for Pittsburgh and Big Ben.

Roethlisberger wasn’t the star of the game however, but he did throw 46 passes and 34 of those came in the first half. Those 46 attempts only accounted for 123 yards though. The rookie running back Najee Harris stole the show with 180 rushing yards and a touchdown.

The game was close heading into the fourth quarter with the Browns only down six and they cut it to just a five point lead with just over a minute remaining. The Steelers killed the clock and then finished off a scoring drive with a 37 yard Harris touchdown run to seal the game.

The Steelers play the Cincinnati Bengals in the week 18 regular season finale and the outcome could determine if the Steelers make the playoffs or not. The Bengals are coming off a thrilling three point win against the Chiefs that ended their eight game winning streak so it could be a tough matchup if the Bengals roll out their full starting units.
