The Bruins are Dominant

The Boston Bruins are on their way to one of the most dominant seasons in the NHL ever. Through 51 games the team already has 39 wins. That is seven more wins than the team with the second-best record in the league.

Last season the Bruins managed 51 wins but lost in the first round of the playoffs. This season it doesn’t look like anyone should be able to beat them in a seven-game series, let alone beat them even twice in a series as they have just seven losses out of their 51 games played so far.

David Pastrnak has played in all 51 games for the Bruins and has 72 points with 38 goals. His goal total is good for the second most in the NHL and his points total is good for the fourth most. The emergence of David Pastrnak as one of the league’s top players is undoubtedly one of the reasons for this team’s success so far.

The most wins for a season ever in the NHL is 62. With about 30 games remaining on the schedule, that number is not out of question for them to hit by the end of the season at their current pace.
