Saturday will feature a highly anticipated NFL playoff rematch when the San Francisco 49ers go in to Lambeau to take on the Green Bay Packers.
This has been one of the best playoff rivalries in the league for quite a while now. In the two team’s last postseason matchup, the 49ers beat the Packers on their way to a Super Bowl appearance in 2020. That was the first year the 49ers had made the playoffs since 2013, but in that year, they also beat the Packers in a wild card matchup. The year before that, in 2012, the 49ers defeated the Packers’ yet again, this time in the divisional round. Saturday will mark another divisional round matchup between the two franchises.
Sunday, and the last game of the weekend, will feature potentially one of the highest scoring playoff games in recent time when the Buffalo Bills take on the Kansas City Chiefs. This game is another rematch, but this time it is from last season’s conference title game when the Chiefs beat the Bills to advance to the Super Bowl.
The Bills are a better team this year with Josh Allen looking like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and an improved all-around offense.
Both of these games are certain to be entertaining.
