The NBA season is young but so far we have had a bunch of surprise teams at the top of the standings in both the East and the West. Let’s take a look at them.
Utah Jazz 10-6
The Jazz came out extremely hot and have cooled down a bit recently. They are still third in the West though after people were picking them to be near the bottom of the conference.
Portland Trailblazers 10-4
Most people projected the Blazers to compete for one of the last play-in spots. They started out the season as one of the best teams so far in the Western Conference and
Sacramento Kings 7-6
After starting 0-4 the Kings have won four in a row now. The Kings also infamously lost two games this year on missed calls that the NBA reviewed after the game and admitted they missed calls in the last seconds.
Atlanta Hawks 9-5
The Hawks are third in the Eastern Conference. They have beaten some good teams as well so far like the Milwaukee Bucks twice and the 76ers.
Washington Wizards 8-6
A surprise team here is the Wizards as no one picked them to make the playoffs. They are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference and look good with Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis forming a solid duo.
