Week 17 has a lot of playoff implications for teams across the NFL. A lot of these wildcard spots will likely come down to the last two weeks of the season. These three games will be the games to watch closely this week.
Chiefs at Bengals
The Chiefs have already clinched the division title in the AFC West but the Bengals are fighting for the AFC North title or a wildcard spot that is not a guarantee either. This has potential to be a shootout which will make it a fun game to watch as the Chiefs are likely to play all of their starters and the Bengals are coming off of a 41 point game where Joe Burrow threw for 525 yards.
Dolphins at Titans
This game won’t be as appealing to watch perhaps as it has a high likelihood of a low scoring defensive game. The Dolphins are on a seven game winning streak however and are fighting to turn their season around and make the playoffs. The Titans are leading the AFC South but the Colts are right behind them and they will likely need to win both of their remaining games to hold on to the division title.
Cardinals at Cowboys
These two teams have the most combined wins out of any opponents in week 17. The Cowboys are currently hot while the Cardinals are quite the opposite. This one could be a potential playoff matchup preview as the Cardinals have secured a wildcard spot and are playing for the division title still while the Cowboys have already locked up the NFC East.
