The final two weeks of the NFL season there will surely be a good amount of drama for a handful of teams battling to make it into the final spots of the playoffs. Let’s look at some of these teams on the bubble of making it into the postseason.
Miami Dolphins 8-7
The Dolphins haven’t made it into the postseason since the 2016 season. They have a chance this year and if the season ended now they would be in. However, Miami has now lost four games in a row and there are four teams with seven wins in the AFC right below them including the Patriots who they play this week.
Jacksonville Jaguars 7-8
2017 was the last year the Jags made the playoffs. They are currently in after winning their last three games in a row but there are four other teams with seven wins as well competing for the spot they hold as a tie-breaker right now.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-8
With just seven wins the Bucs lead their division. As long as they can hold off the Panthers this week they will make it into the playoffs.
New York Giants 8-6-1
2016 was the last time the Giants made the postseason. They are battling with four other teams with seven wins and their own division rival the Commanders for the final spot.
Washington Commanders 7-7-1
A tie and then two losses have put Washington on the playoff bubble. Right now it is a tight race for the final spot and they will have to win at least one if not both of their games to make it in.
