Thursday Night Football Preview: Broncos Chiefs

Thursday Night Football in the NFL kicks off with an AFC West matchup. The struggling Denver Broncos will take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are expected to win big but Denver has shown some promise even though they don’t have much to show for it in the win column.

The Broncos offense was arguably way worse last season but they played the Chiefs really well. Even though they lost both games, the Broncos scored 28 and then 24 points on them and lost by just six and three. We could see another close and high-scoring game in this one.

The question for the Broncos all year has been if they can close games. Russell Wilson statistically has actually been really good this season. The thing that he hasn’t done well is win games in the end. That is what separates good from great quarterbacks. This game could be close and may come down to the end again and if Wilson can lead a late-touchdown drive.

The Chiefs have been rolling winning four games in a row after a loss in week 1 without Travis Kelce and Chris Jones. Look for them to win this one but it could be closer than some people think.
