Top 3 Running Backs in the NFL

The NFL has flipped to a passing league. Still, there are a good amount of teams that still rely heavily on their running back. These players are the top three in the league at the position.

1. Jonathan Taylor Colts

Taylor is consistent, will play the majority of the snaps for this team and has big game potential. He had 20 touchdwons and over 2,100 yards last season. There isn’t anything he can’t do. He is a fast and physical runner but also a great pass catcher. He will also get almost all of the goal line carries.

2. Derrick Henry Titans

The Titans will go back to being a heavy run team. Even when Henry missed a bunch of games last year they went with his backup a ton. This team loves to run and while some people just see Henry as a big bruising back, he is one of the fastest in open space as well. He is likely to fall into five yards runs and then also break off 80 yard runs for touchdowns.

3. Christian McCaffrey Panthers

Before all of his injuries he was the best running back in the league. Now, the Panthers are not in a good spot as one of the projected worst teams next year. Hopefully he can return to his old form and light the league on fire again. He is arguably the best receiving back and also will be on the field and get almost all of the carries in every situation.
