Top NFL Performances in Week 9 — Washington Football Team at Las Vegas Raiders from Allegiant Stadium, December 5th, 2021 (All-Pro Reels Photography)

The rookie CJ Stroud had his best performance of his rookie season and possibly the best performance of any quarterback in the NFL so far this season. Stroud threw for 470 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. The 470 yards were a rookie record and was the most in the league along with five touchdowns. Wild stuff from the rookie in a comeback win.

Running Back

Josh Jacobs finally had a solid game and helped the Raiders get a rare win. He got 26 carries and managed 98 yards with two touchdowns. It was good to see some volume from Jacobs finally even though he didn’t have the best yard-per-carry average. His rushing yardage was second in the league as of Monday morning.

Wide Receiver

Noah Brown deserves some recognition for his big-play ability this past week. Stroud was finding him and he was second in the NFL in receiving yardage and also added a touchdown. The previous yardage high of the season was just 57 yards for Brown and it could be the beginning of a breakout year.

Tight End

Another Houston Texans player comes in here with Dalton Schultz. A lot was expected of Schultz when he came over in free agency from the Dallas Cowboys and this is why they got him. He bounced back from an early fumble to record 10 catches for 130 yards and touchdown.
