Top NFL Performances of Week 2

Buccaneers at Redskins 11/16/14

Quarterback

CJ Stroud – Despite a loss in week 2, Stroud had a standout performance. While many of his yards also came in garbage time, Stroud managed to lead the NFL in passing yards in week 2 while throwing two touchdowns and no interceptions. It was impressive and encouraging for the rookie QB. 384 passing yards in nothing to scoff at.

Running Back

D’Andre Swift – With Kenneth Gainwell leading the charge for Philadelphia in week 1, Gainwell got just one carry. In week 2, Swift got 28 carries and led the NFL in rushing yards for the week with 175. He also added a touchdown and three catches for Philadelphia.

Bijan Robinson – The rookie had the second-most rushing yards with 124 and also brought in four catches for 48 yards. He was as big part of the Atlanta-comeback win.

Wide Receiver

Mike Evans – Mike Evans had just six catches but most of them were for large chunks. He took six catches for 171 yards and a big touchdown as Tampa Bay beat Chicago.

Puka Nacua – The rookie and fifth-round pick for the LA Rams had another standout performance. Puka Nacua brought in 15 catches and was targeted 20 times against San Francisco. The Rams lost but Nacua looks like he will be a good NFL receiver for a long time.
