Top NHL Playoff Performances so Far

The NHL playoffs are off and running. Let’s look at some of the top performances of the playoffs so far from these stars.

Connor McDavid Edmonton Oilers

McDavid has been the best player in the league for years now arguably. He showed that in the first game of the playoffs in an Oiler win over the Los Angeles Kings. McDavid didn’t score but had a whopping five assists in the game. Not to show himself up, in game three he had three more assists to go with two goals.

Carter Verhaeghe Florida Panthers

Possibly the best overall performer of the playoffs so far has been Verhaeghe. He is second in points and third in goals scored. Florida is up 3-1 behind him and in game five he scored two goals and got an assist while connecting on 8 shots on goal. It’s been an amazing playoff run for Verhaeghe.

Joseph Woll Toronto Maple Leafs

Woll didn’t play until game four. In 17 minutes he had a 100% save rate. He played the entirety of game five and got the Maple Leafs a win by saving over 96% of shots as Toronto won 2-1 over Boston. He’s leading the NHL these playoffs in save percentage and average goals against.
