After just week one not much has changed but it is never too early in the season to rank teams. There were some dominating performances and also some teams proved they may not be as good as advertised. Let’s look at who is in the top three of the NFL power rankings.
1. Buffalo Bills
The Bills came into the season as the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl meaning they were ranked as the best team in the league. After one week not much has changed. The Bills won against the defending Super Bowl champions with ease and showed that they should really be the No. 1 team. Every aspect of their team looked exceptional against a tough opponent.
2. Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City reminded everyone that they are not to be counted out. They have somewhat gone under the radar heading into the season but the offense looked just as good as ever without Tyreek Hill. They rebuilt that offense pretty well it seems. For now they are the No. 2 team but they have a huge division matchup in week 2 against the Chargers who are ranked in the top eight for sure.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs surpassed the Rams in the rankings due to their big win against Dallas and the Rams getting blown out in week one. They have a big division matchup in week 2 against New Orleans that could prove how good they really are this year.
