Zach LaVine to the Orlando Magic
It has been rumored since the NBA trade deadline that the Chicago Bulls are looking to blow this team up. They did re-sign Nikola Vucevic but Zach LaVine and Demar Derozan could be traded. LaVine to the Orlando Magic would be a huge move. The Magic could likely just give up an expiring contract in Markelle Fultz, Johnathan Isaac, and one of their top picks from 2023 plus maybe another pick. In the Eastern Conference a team with LaVine, Franz Wagner, and Paolo Banchero could compete.
Zion Williamson to the New York Knicks
Having Zion in New York would be electric. The Knicks also appear to be just a couple of players away from being one of the top teams in the East. Trading Julius Randle and Immanuel Quickley plus maybe a pick could be enough to get New Orleans to trade Zion. It has been rumored they are looking to deal him.
Karl Anthony-Towns to the Atlanta Hawks
Another rumor is that the Minnesota Timberwolves don’t want to have three max contracts on their roster if they are not competing. That could mean a player like KAT could be on the move. A trade to Atlanta would make them a top team in the East. The Hawks could offer Onyeka Okongu, Clint Capela, and Saddiq Bey plus some picks. This would give Minnesota some pieces to work with as well and some expiring deals.
