Two Epic Nights for These NBA Stars

Monday night in the NBA featured two games that went to overtime. The Cavs and Bulls game went to extra time as well as the Warriors and Rockets game that went into double overtime. Two NBA stars had massive games to get their team the win.

Donovan Mitchell: 71 points, 11 assists

It was a historic night for Mitchell. The Cavs were playing without Darius Garland and Evan Mobley so Mitchell took it upon himself to carry the scoring load. He did just that and became just the seventh player in NBA history to score 70+ points in a game. Two of those points included a put back off of a missed free throw by Mitchell to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Klay Thompson: 52 points, 10 threes

It was vintage Klay on Monday night as he scored 52 points. This was the breakout game that he needed after struggling earlier this year coming back from his injury that forced him to not be able to play like his old self. He may be back now as he has played 37 minutes or more in all of his last four games and scored an averaged of 34.5 points in those contests as well.
