At this point in the NFL season there doesn’t appear to be one clear favorite. Each of the top teams have lost or have looked shaky at times. The top teams are still Philadelphia, Kansas City, and San Francsico, but one of these other teams could have a real shot at winning the Super Bowl.
This team has has a legit defense and can run the ball. It seems like it doesn’t matter who they put in the backfield whether that is Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, or now Keaton Mitchell, they can run effectively. The big questions with this team will be their pass game. Lamar Jackson will have to find another reliable weapon apart from Mark Andrews.
The Lions have a standout defense, can run the ball, and have a good passing attack as well. Overall this team does everything really good but they don’t do one thing great. The addition of Donovan Peoples-Jones may be an underrated pickup as they needed another wide receiver in this offense. At times Detroit has looked like a top team in the league and will be a tough out in the playoffs.
Everyone lost their minds that the Miami Dolphins fell to the Chiefs this past week. They now have three losses but losing to the Super Bowl favorite by just seven points doesn’t seem to be cause for concern. Miami has also lost to Philadelphia and Buffalo. They will need to figure out how to beat good teams but dominate most other games. This offense alone could win them games in the playoffs.
