Underrated NFL Players

The NFL is full of players who could be underrated come this season. Let’s look at some of them who may surprise some people by year’s end.

Matt Ryan Colts

Matt Ryan has been stuck on a bad Atlanta Falcons team for quite some time until this season. Ryan was once a top NFL quarterback and the Falcons were one of the best teams in the NFL. The last four seasons there though they never managed a winning record or to make the playoffs. He still managed to be 11th in passing yards last season.

Ryan did also lead Atlanta to a Super Bowl in 2016 when they narrowly lost to the Patriots. He should be able to make this already good Colts team better and a potential Super Bowl team again in 2023.

Marvin Jones Jr. Jaguars

The Jaguars were not good at all last year in Jones’ first year there. That didn’t stop him from getting over 800 yards receiving though. Jones has also gotten nine of more touchdowns in a season three times in his career. He is being severely slept on this year on a Jacksonville team that could be much improved where he could be the No. 1 option.

Miles Sanders Eagles

Sanders is one of the most slept on running backs in the NFL. Last season he got 13 or more carries just five times in 12 games but averaged 5.5 yards per carry for an Eagles team that loves to run the ball. He also had two games with 120 or more rushing yards and five games with three or more catches.

If he can get and stay healthy he could be a top 10 running back in the NFL this season.
