Glasgow Celtic clinch Scottish title once again, this time with eight games to play. There’s no stopping the Hoops, who have ruled the Scottish Premier League since the bankruptcy of their arch-rivals Glasgow Rangers.
The sixth consecutive title was secured in a marvelous manner by beating Hearts on the road 0-5. A dominant performance by Celtic saw the former England U-21 star Scott Sinclair bang in a hat-trick, taking his season total to 18 which justifies a pole position in the SPL scoring race a nick ahead of his teammate, French wonderkid Moussa Dembele.
Celtic left no room for arguments this season, having won 28 games out of 30 and not losing once. Glasgow is still green, despite Rangers return to Premier League this season. The other Glasgow team is currently standing at 3rd in the league, but still has a chance to leapfrog Aberdeen and take their rightful place right by Celtic. Who said the good old times are never coming back?
