Thursday Night football features a matchup between two NFL teams who had just seven combined losses in the regular season last year. The Eagles made it all the way to the Super Bowl while the Vikings fizzled out in the wildcard round.
This game will be played in Philadelphia and the Eagles will be the favorite by around a full touchdown plus an extra point. It’s a wide spread for the Eagles against a team that had one of the best records last season and expects to be even better this year.
The Eagles won their week one matchup against the Patriots but the Vikings lost as they were upset by the Buccaneers. It was not the best showing for the Vikings who expected to win the game. Minnesota could keep this game close and upset the Eagles if their offense is clicking though. The Eagles gave up over 300 yards to Mac Jones and a passing attack of the Patriots without Devante Parker last week and Minnesota has a much better offense.
This game does have a high-projected total of around 49 points and it could be an absolute shootout if both offenses are clicking like we have seen before. Expect a high scoring game and one that could come down to the last few possessions.
