Warriors Horrific Road Game Streak

The Golden State Warriors have one of the best home records in the NBA. On the road it is a different story. Golden State has now not won a game on the road since January 30th when they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma. They have lost 10 road games in a row.

For the season the Warriors have won just seven games on the road. Their overall road record is just 7-29. At home their record is actually extremely impressive at 29-7. Those are complete opposites and make their record on the year 36-36, dead even at a .500 record.

The Warriors are still a dangerous team that no top seed should want to face early in the playoffs. Right now the Warriors hold the seventh best record in the Western Conference, which means they would have to win a play-in game at home to make it in the playoffs.

It obviously won’t be sustainable to have such a poor record on the road and would certainly cause them a first-round exit if they made the playoffs without home-court advantage.

It has been quite some time in the NBA since a team has had such a bad road record and great home record. This is something to keep an eye on when the playoffs tip of in a couple of weeks.
